Snares

Our snares are a must have in any serious drummer’s arsenal. Built with 10 ply maple shells, they offer a distinctive AYOTTE sound produced by the warm touch of wood hoops to the tonal attributes of the drums.

CLASSIC

10 ply shell with a 6ply reinforcement ring, this is our fully custom snare. We can custom build this shell to up to 40 plies thick.


VELVET
10 ply shell with full face wood hoop. Reliable and consistent warm AYOTTE sound.

BEDFORD
A dependable 10ply shell workhorse on steel hoops.

AK
The new Stainles Steel Snare Series has been completely re-engineered from hoop to hoop. Made of the highest quality North American stainless steel, the new AK resonates an articulate distinct sound that separates it from all other metallic drums. Choose our signature Wood Hoops for an organic, woody sound or our triple-flanged Steel Hoops for a brighter more vibrant timbre. The Ayotte AK is available in 14x5.5, 13x6 and 10x6.
